Race Events Group is the group that is responsible for the production, organization, and management of race events. It has pioneered the development and promotion of trail running mountain sports in the country holding all the races on the mountain trail of the Sierra Madre mountains bringing the runners to never before seen places.
Pimco Trail Runners Club operates under this group and has just been formed to manage the Trail Runners Clubhouse that will be built by Pimco for member trail runners with the Sierra Madre Mountains in Tanay as its home mountain trails, where trail runner members may indulge in regular trail running training.
The Race Events Group has one main function as a unit which is to organize, manage, and promote trail running as a lifestyle sport to both local and foreign running enthusiasts. Its objective is the formation of an active trail running community in the Philippines and develop trail runners who shall be at par with foreign competitors. We have proven this in the past when we sent the first Filipino Team to the famous Hongkong Trail Running Race in the past.
The choice of trail running as the focus of race events that are organized, managed, and promoted by Pimco Sporting Events is in line with the Pimco Group's social responsibility to advance the cause of Environmental Protection and Conservation and upland communities.
Race Events Group offers other services allied to the racing events such as access to cheaper accommodation when staying in Tanay. Pimco will open a business center along JP Rizal in Sampaloc, Tanay where runners are accessible to runners for package tours in Tanay tourist destinations, Hotel accommodations, and transport services. It will soon have its own bed and breakfast for runners on the go.
Race Events group also offers companies and groups who wish to have their own company-sponsored race events for employees and families. Visit our business center opening soon!
Pimco Race Events Group works hand in hand with other business units and closely coordinates the needs of other units and attached organizations like the Philippines Trail Runners Association to be renamed as Pimco Trail Runners Club or PTRC to avoid conflict with another Trail Running Association called Philtra (Philippines Trail Running Association). PTRC operates and is under the Pimco Sporting Events Group.
The Race Events Group is responsible for organizing and managing the trail racing events brands of Pimco like the NTDR trilogy championship series, Amazing Run2Run Adventure, Love A Tree, and all premier trail running events that shall be organized in the future like the upcoming Woodland International Trail Run Fun Race.
The Race Events Group is also responsible for operating the Pimco Trail Running Club and the operation and management of the Clubhouse for the registered members.
